Turn Intention Into Action
Launching a brand is rarely a straight line.
This one unfolded month by month.
June
I felt the need to create a project with meaning.
The Niche Society was born from a personal desire — and a long-standing obsession with carefully designed hotels and the act of thrifting fabrics.

July
I drafted the first partnership proposal and shared it with a small number of fabric editors.

August
I gathered my inspirations, defined the collection, and set my non-negotiables.
I created the only object I personally make — The Knot — using vintage silk scarves.

September
Perennials Sutherland confirmed they would gift The Niche Society samples from their European showrooms.
Combined with the fabrics sourced from reuse centers and antique markets across France, I now had everything needed to begin production.
Perennials Sutherland fabrics mixed with thrifted dormant fabric swatches.
October
I visited FENO to meet the artisan who would hand-sew the lambswool-filled pieces:
dog mattresses, children’s play mats, and bed and sofa throws.

November
After an extensive fabric-to-sketch process, I launched the production of all cushions with my couturier in Paris.
It was then that the idea emerged: to launch at home, before Christmas, and present the pieces in situation.

December
I prepared the space, the invitations — and launched in Paris, surrounded by Raven and I’s friends, family, and neighbours. Collecting 200€ from that evening alone for the Paris association Gamelles Pleines.

Thank you for being here, at the very beginning.
