Ayesha Chundriga & her team have rescued over 35 000 animals in their shelter. Through her everyday work and social media presence they bring awareness and advocate for distressed animals across Pakistan.

A tax receipt will be issued by the beneficiary organization. Donations may be eligible for a tax deduction in France in accordance with applicable legislation. For donors residing outside France, tax deductibility depends on the regulations in force in their country of residence.

What does upcycle mean?

Dead stock fabrics and here is why :

  1. Most factories set MOQs - minimum order quantity - to launch fabric production orders. A fashion or textile brand may not use all of the fabric ordered to create its collections, so that leftover fabric is often left at the warehouse to sleep. TNS has it’s connections to find
  2. For fabric designers they ofter display samples during their tradeshows so their customers can have a look and feel before placing their order. Perennials Sutherland is kind enough to donate these sample swatches so TNS can up-cycle them once their trade shows are over.
  3. Finally, I also thrift curtains which in this case are dry-cleaned before being transformed.

Are The Niche Society's product handmade?

Yes, all our pieces are handmade. Deciding to use only upcycled fabrics means mass production is impossible. Based on how many meters are available and the fabric I find, I decide which product to make.

Where are The Niche Society products made?

All our pieces are Made in France. It’s not impossible this might change as my family also lives in Morocco and they have wonderful artisans there, in that case it will be clearly communicated.

How is The Niche Society supporting animals?

The Niche Society gives visibility to each animal shelter or foundation it choses to give back to. It’s one of the only brands who thinks about giving back an not just profit. It also references other animal shelters & foundations for birthday gifts ideas.
